NFPA Swift Water Rescue Level I / BGSU CRT series


NFPA 1006,1670 Swift Water Rescue Level I:  This four day course exceeds NFPA requirements.  Primary Objectives: Personal Survival and swim techniques, Shore Based Rescues, River reading, Boat operations, Boat based rescues, Paddling Techniques, Equipment use/selection/applications/maintenance, Tactics, Scenario Based Applications.  Students will be exposed to a variety of water craft and water bodies.  Students must pass the IARDS Level I swim test on day one to participate in the course.

Daily Times: 08:00 - 18:00

What to bring... Students should bring under layers (dry wear or wicking wear with insulating properties are recommended), river shoes or old tennis shoes, neoprene gloves.  Drysuit, PFD, and Helmet will be provided.
